Art and Environment

"I love the house where you live, O LORD, the place where your glory dwells."
Psalm 26:8
"He adorned the temple with precious stones. And the gold he used was gold of Parvaim."
2 Chronicles 3:6
God created the world in beauty.  Creativity as a form of worship is pleasing to God, the ultimate creator, the source of all beauty and glory. This ministry allows the Parish to celebrate the liturgy in beauty and therefore be pleasing to God.
Tasks include:
  • decorating the altar
  • creating/hanging banners
  • changing linens on altar in conjunction with liturgical seasons
  • organizing supplies
  • majority of work to be done at Christmas and Easter
If you have a desire to share your artistic talents (or manpower) with us please contact the Parish Office at 403-381-8891.
